MARCHING BAND BANQUET:

 

Thursday January 28^th, 2010 at 6 pm in the Thomas Dale Commons.

 

 

Students will be recognized for their hard work and accomplishments after another successful and BUSY marching band season.    After the Banquet, we will be showing the Season Highlights DVD which Cliff is putting together.  He will be taking orders for the DVD on Thursday.

Your Student should have in his/her possession the attached letter which provides a bit more detail than I am including here so PLEASE BE SURE TO READ the attachment if you have not seen the letter.

Some of the highlights……

 

What are we Eating?

Freshmen and Sophomore :  Please bring a side dish (ex:  Salad, Mac and Cheese, Vegetable Casserole, vegetables, etc.)

Juniors                                   :  Please bring a dessert

Seniors                                  :  Please bring a main dish (ex:  Chicken, Casserole, Spaghetti)

 

The Thomas Dale Band Boosters will be providing beverages, paper plates and eating utensils for the meal. 

 

A few requests:

·        Please make sure that everything you bring is ready to serve (8-10 servings) and includes a serving utensil.

·        Please warm food, if possible, as we will not have access to an oven to heat food items onsite. 

·        Please make sure all containers and utensils are clearly marked so if any are left they can find their way home.

·        Please help us out at the conclusion of the Awards Ceremony—by clearing the table you are sitting at.. and collecting your serving Utensils and leftovers

 

An IMPORTANT message from the Band Boosters (Especially Parents of 9^th, 10^th, or 11^th grade Students):

·        Parent Volunteers are essential to the success of this program.   

o  MANY of the Band Booster Board and Committee Chair positions will need filling next year, as they are currently occupied by Parents of Seniors.  Individuals serving in these roles Must have a Student enrolled in the Band Program.

·        We are forming a Nominating Committee and you will be receiving additional information shortly!      In the meantime… Would you please see the Band Directors, or Contact any Existing Board or Committee Chair for details on how you can get involved!

 

• Are you interested in purchasing some Apparel or Other items (mugs, hats, etc.)  indicating your Support of the Band?
