2008 Spring Rehearsal and Performance Dates

February 21 Concert Band Rehearsal, 2 – 3:30 p.m.

February 23 All-State Auditions at JMU

February 26 Pre-Festival Concert, 7 p.m.

	Concert Black and White.
	There is no admission charge.
	Parents are asked to attend and bring their critical listening skills. The more ears the better!

February 28 Concert Band Rehearsal 2 – 3:30 p.m.

March 5 Concert Band Rehearsal 2 – 3:30 p.m.

March 6 VBODA District III Performance for Concert Band, 8:30 p.m.

	Concert Black and White. Remember no short-sleeved shirts allowed.
	There is no admission charge.
	Students should report to Thomas Dale by 6 p.m.

March 7 VBODA District III Performance for Wind Ensemble, 8:30 p.m.

	Concert Black and White. Remember no short-sleeved shirts allowed.
	Students need to meet at L.C. Bird H.S. at 7 p.m. with everything needed for performance.
	There is no admission charge.
	Parents are strongly encouraged to attend.

March 8 VBODA District III Performance for Symphonic Band, 4:50 p.m.

	Concert Black and White. Remember no short-sleeved shirts allowed.
	Students need to meet at L.C. Bird H.S. at 3:45 p.m. with everything needed for the performance.
	There is no admission charge.
	Parents are strongly encouraged to attend.

April 3-5 All-State Band for selected students, Harrisonburg HS, Harrisonburg , VA

April 30 Concert band, Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble rehearsal for spring concert

May 1 Dress Rehearsal for Spring Concert

May 2 Spring Concert, 7 p.m.

May 12-16 Guard and Leadership Training and Auditions, 2:15- 5 p.m.

May 19 Guard Auditions 2:15 until completed

May 20 Freshman and New Member Orientation, 7 - 8:30 p.m.

June 10 Graduation performance for selected students.
